but, my first piece of advice is to go to that managing broker, tell him your concerns and see if they can get you some agents to interview for you to choose from.
a: i would first encourage you to remember that usually if you’re listed with an affiliate broker or an agent under a brokerage, those listings belong to the broker.? and typically if you will just approach the managing broker at the firm with your concerns, they can usually assign you another agent and even give you the right to interview that new agent.?
q: is there any legal recourse one could take against a severely ineffective real estate agent? my home has been listed for over 160 days, and to date i have had less than a handful of open houses. also, i was told that my house would be advertised sufficiently in local publications, and i have yet to see the home advertised once. what can i do? – jack
again, open houses, some agents have different and varying opinions on how open houses are effective. so make sure if you have certain expectations you want out of a realtor,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you’re asking those questions in the front end rather than finding out now on this end of it.
