I know a friend who can actually vouch that Eutechnyx is developing a Nascar game. He’s one of the physics dudes (damn good at it too!). He’s developed a Nascar mod actually for Live for Speed as well.. to limited success. Eutechnyx actually has 3 racing games in the works right now. I remember taking a survey for one of them (asking for what cars/tracks you’d like).. now the NASCAR one.. and probably another Ferrari/Supercar Challenge type game. <br />When gaming blog Joystiq covered this story, one commentator wrote: <br />Ironically, Sony’s Gran Turismo 5, the upcoming flagship racing game for the PlayStation 3 will feature (for the first time) NASCAR cars and a small select number of NASCAR tracks. That’s where the image for this article comes from. <br />Codemasters’?brilliant?F1 2010 is currently occupying our racing needs here at the TFTS offices (well, maybe just my racing needs), but many out there still would like a NASCAR game. Electronic Arts recently gave up the NASCAR license after years of making an annual NASCAR video game. Some concept art for a “NASCAR 2011″ game appeared on the message board for English game developer Euechnyx, before quickly disappearing. Google caching still shows the images, and when Euchnyx employees were asked about the NASCAR game on Twitter,<a href="http://www.super-nfljerseys.com" target="_blank" class="postlink">nfl sales</a>, they were purposefully coy. One developer wrote: “An announcement is being made soon about our plans.” <br />Further mysterious evidence, despite not being announced yet, some anonymous editor keeps adding “NASCAR 2011: The Game” to Eutechnyx’s Wikipedia page.
